Banana Pudding Tiramisu

Banana Pudding Tiramisu is a creamy no-bake dessert that combines classic tiramisu layers with nostalgic banana pudding flavors. Filled with mascarpone cream, bananas, vanilla wafers, and coffee-soaked ladyfingers, it is perfect for gatherings and make-ahead entertaining.

  • Total Time: 4 hours 25 minutes
  • Yield: 10-12 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 box vanilla wafers
  • 1 package ladyfingers
  • 1 cup brewed coffee or espresso, cooled
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Let it sit for several minutes until thickened.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese until creamy and smooth.
  3. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the mascarpone and mix until fully combined.
  4. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the mascarpone mixture.
  5. Fold the prepared pudding into the mascarpone cream mixture until smooth and fully incorporated.
  6. Quickly dip the ladyfingers into the cooled coffee or espresso and arrange them in a layer at the bottom of a serving dish.
  7. Add a layer of sliced bananas and vanilla wafers over the ladyfingers.
  8. Spread a generous layer of the creamy pudding mixture over the cookies and bananas.
  9. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a cream layer on top.
  10. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best texture and flavor.
  11. Before serving, garnish with whipped cream, crushed vanilla wafers, banana slices, and a light dusting of cinnamon.

Notes

  • For extra sweetness, drizzle caramel sauce between the layers.
  • Chocolate wafers can be substituted for vanilla wafers for a richer flavor.
  • Cream cheese may be used instead of mascarpone cheese.
  • Banana pudding mix can replace vanilla pudding mix for stronger banana flavor.
  • Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • This dessert is best served chilled and is not suitable for reheating.
