Fluffy Pumpkin Latte

Fluffy Pumpkin Latte is a rich and cozy coffee drink made with real pumpkin puree, espresso, warm spices, and frothy milk. Its creamy texture and comforting fall flavors create a coffeehouse-style beverage that’s easy to make at home.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients

  • 2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup, honey, or brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Additional pumpkin pie spice (optional)
  • Ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract.
  2. Cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring frequently, until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the milk and whisk until fully combined and heated through without boiling.
  4. Use a milk frother, immersion blender, or whisk to froth the milk mixture until light and fluffy.
  5. Brew the espresso or strong coffee and pour it into a large mug.
  6. Slowly pour the frothy pumpkin milk mixture over the coffee.
  7. Spoon any remaining foam on top.
  8. Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon if desired.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Whole milk or barista-style oat milk creates the richest foam.
  • Adjust sweetness to taste with additional maple syrup, honey, or brown sugar.
  • For a cold version, chill the pumpkin milk mixture and serve over ice.
  • The pumpkin milk base can be prepared up to 2 days ahead and re-frothed before serving.
  • Add vanilla protein powder for a higher-protein variation.
  • Replace espresso with chai tea for a pumpkin chai latte.
